PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

 

• Supervise and ensure safety of all students within the program;
• Adhere to all Governing Board policies and District procedures pertaining to Student Activities,  including but not limited to  policies governing purchasing, fundraising, and student conduct;
• Adhere to all Governing Board policies and District procedures for maintaining an efficient documentation system for filing club minutes, purchase requisitions, collection of money, timely deposit of money and overall budget maintenance;
• Promote student participation and goals of individual program;

• Communicate with outside staff, personnel, administration, community members, etc., as needed; and
• Other related tasks, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

• Current AZ teacher certificate;
• Demonstrated ability to manage student behavior;
• Demonstrated positive rapport with students;
• Demonstrated organizational skills;
• Moderate knowledge of technology (i.e. email, attachments, excel);
• Such alternatives as the Governing Board may find appropriate, acceptable and reasonable.

 

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• May occasionally be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
